ABOUT ME

Maansi Srivastava (she/they) is an Indian-American documentary photographer and photo editor focusing on widespread social issues through a lens of family and community. She currently works as a photogapher and photo editor for NPR. Maansi recently completed a year-long photography fellowship with the New York Times. She has also worked as a photography intern for the Washington Post and AARP. Maansi has contributed to the New York Times, the Washington Post, NPR, Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal, AARP, and other clients. She is a member of Diversify Photo and the Asian American Journalists Association. Maansi has received security training for reporting in hostile situations, and also holds a FAA Part 107 Drone License.

Maansi enjoys story-driven video games, growing plants, and learning languages. You can also find her walking her goldendoodle puppy, Reggie, in her free time. She is available for freelance assignments across the DC-Maryland-Virginia area.
